Finally opened the shipping box with Izzy’s ashes. What’s inside is a fancy shopping bad lined in bubble wrap with his box inside, and a tag. 50 years of saying goodbye to kitties - I have all the ashes; I’m going to have to create a bookshelf columbarium. This loss has been the worst. So quick, and he was so young. This coming week’s events are not going to help. And next week-end, against all better judgment, I’m bringing home a new baby brother for my ancient girl, who has survived 2 doting brothers. The baby I hope will cease being an annoyance very quickly snd become a snuggler to watch over her.

I am always perplexed as to how a clothes dryer can nest and twist sheets so tightly inside each other that it becomes a puzzle to untangle them.

Those oversized tennis ball-like things you can put in with them seem to help a bit.
I should give those a try. Today’s twist was honestly like trying the find the end of the clear packing tape after a good amount of it was already ripped away.
In a perfect world you could take your proposed new dryer on a test drive. We lucked out with our Asko “butterfly” action dryer. Yes, stuff looks like it has compressed into a football but immediately falls apart into unwrinkled items.

I play nyt games every morning and also utilize the cooking section. I hope the strike is resolved in short order.

Thank you to the very discourteous soul sitting one person away from me, who coughed her way through the concert I attended the other night. I don’t think it is COVID, but I have the worse-est cold I’ve had in years. Perfect for hibernating today😵. I didn’t really want to leave the house today, anyway. (insert very bad word).

My son’s office closed for the day. I wish I was off because I am extremely unfocused. Rehearsal tonight is going to be a complete waste of time tonight, I suspect.
