Im starting to interact with a young woman from Hong Kong . I love when we text . I say there was a wreck going up to Castle lake . No injuries acured .luckily i went to the river instead .
Her reply was anybody on board.
I love it . Shes been here 4 year’s . She’s embarrassed that her English is not that good.I comfort her with no worries

No worries is right! Our English wasn’t that good when we were learning it as children. Practice makes near perfection.

The biggun’s just flew over, they’re either finishing their day shift or searching for more water. Go bag and cat cage are ready, car is fueled up and there is a choice for evacuation sites. Roomate is about 6 hours away. I’ve got his stuff ready to take. Ay yi yi!!!

I said thank you for all your hard work today to a firefighter in line today at mt Shasta market. She said we’re super busy . Starting naming fires . Head , and so on . Again i said thank you .

I have my to go bag also . My homeowners insurance is solid . Talked to the adjuster on Thursday. Car and some clothes , deed to the house ,insurance policy . Ready at a moments notice.

We have a tanker base here in Medford. Reassuring but scary when huge planes fly overhead at low altitude.

Our insurance company notified us that they will not renew any of our insurance, Calaveras County OR San Francisco! They are willing to continue auto but not liability umbrella. Feels pretty naked!

We have a heavy tanker base in nearby Columbia. I LOVE these guys. They flew within 50 ft over our house a few years back, dumping retardant. Without them, we would have been toast.
