Odd that I don’t recall this duo, but I guess I’ve never been a big music fan
The important thing is they’re Wawa fans!
Elvira, PeeWee, and Traci Lords!
Icons all! (I have one of their autographs. Guess which one!)
PeeWee!
No! But I would like his autograph.
Daddy Brag Time
My son took five AP classes/tests: 2 AP physics classes (classical mechanics; light/electromagnetism; there’s a 3rd AP physics he took last year and can’t remember what its focus was) and also AP Calculus B/C, AP Statistics, and AP Lit.
He got a 5 score on all five of them.
I believe he’ll start engineering school this fall as a “Freshman” who has 65 semester hours already attributed. So basically a Freshman but also a Junior.
That’s not as much as the tally some of the Indian friends he went to school with had (but whose parents are truly “Tiger Mom” type material).
Bragging rights Dad!
I haven’t been on a first date in a long time . Its going well . But for fun i have to ask . Who are the three tenors ? Dont google it you dont have the answer or maybe you do .
There was a whole Seinfeld episode about “the third guy”
Everyone gets Luciano and Placido right. But the third . Dont look is …?
Ruins the joke to say
There’s a joke?
I guess you skipped over the comment about the Seinfeld episode
No, I saw it. Just don’t get what the “joke” is. But thank you for answering so nicely.
Does Seinfeld translate to a British audience?
I mean, 1/2 of America hated it and the other half thought it brilliant.
Although my experience of Seinfeld is definitely enhanced by the NY Jew side of me (I’ve also been on Kramer’s tour of NYC back when I lived there), based on my colleagues, yes-- although I suspect this more “cult” than anything. Curb Your Enthusiasm also has a following. And an Indian friend of mine (who lives in Delhi) spoke of the popularity of the show where she was. Her reasoning was that it resonates for city dwellers where we’re constantly balancing unspoken (and spoken) rules for conduct.
But weirdly, over here, Friends is mad popular. For years it was in constant, seemingly ubiquitous reruns.
ETA: Seinfeld was recently(ish) placed on BBC iPlayer but otherwise, I think the scheduling had been abysmal. Much like the scheduling of Buffy the Vampire Slayer which was either early afternoon or 2am.
I haven’t thought about scheduling politics in a while.
