The ice buildup on the sidewalks from yesterday’s freezing rain is almost gone. I went for a trial run to the drugstore this morning and the sidewalks have been plowed and salted so this afternoon’s gallery visit is on but it’s WINDY. When I got home from this morning’s errand I decided that today is a good day for dal. I have enough left to take for brown bag lunches for next week.
Quick lunch in between driving doodies: garlic rice with the last of the baby bok choy from last night.
Had to schlep down to the burbs to meet with my accountant for the upcoming tax season, so after I was done my sisters met me downstairs at one of out favorite greezy spoons for lunch.
I had the homemade cheese burger and fries(my sister gifted me a strip of crispy bacon to add on top, but I had already taken a bite out of it. A squirt of catsup was also added to the burger , and there as also mayo and catsup for the fries.
A very solid burger at a reasonable price.

Another taco flight after a couple week’s break. Cajun shrimp up top, brisket to the left, pork to the right.
Fan-fucking-tastic as usual. The owner/manager/head chef is moving to the Pacific Northwest the second week of April ![]()
