What's for lunch (2026)

i make and enjoy a lot of club sandwiches, this one though…


got the idea to dust the skin of the chicken thighs with flour and paprika, i then roasted them low wrapped in foil for good 45 mins then unwrapped and turned the heat up - so much juices, and when i poured them of suddenly things got to sizzling.
add some homemade rough guacamole, smoked streaky bacon, smoked german cheese, salt and pepper seasoned tomatoes, and crisp lettuce, between slices of toasted seeded sourdough… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

FUN Rice Noodle Sheet

Plain and Simple. Unencumbered by any vegetation, proteins or even heat.

A bit of Soy, Oyster and Fish Sauces. That’s all she needs.

Fresh made, from a store in Chinatown. The good stuff sells out before noon.

I actually got it at Your Independent Grocer. It was pretty good for a grocery store chain!

Thoroughbred Bakery, in the Heart of the Castro.

Ham & Cheese on House Baguette. Bits of Gherkin and the Mustard tied it all together. Salad a touch tired.

Tripe and Cow’s Feet were fantastic!! Silky Melt-in-Mouth tender. All Meat, no Hominy. Very substantial portion for $14.15.
