Roast pork salad, fresh herbs, capers, gherkins. Tomatoes and salsa verde, toasted pita with evoo and za’atar.

It was from a porchetta roast, it was finely minced, also finely minced red onion, celery, as mentioned capers, gherkins, a mix of mayo, mustard, vinaigrette. Lotsa’ fresh herbs from terrace pots. I think that’s pretty much it.
There is no such thing as too much bacon!

Met up with a good friend for lunch at the Turkish place near us so she could help me brainstorm about how to expand my client base for my grocery shopping & delivery service. First step: buy a sharpie and black out my no longer existing website address on my 10,000 business cards

and I the spicy menemen. Both generous portions, so a 1/3 of my menemen came home with me — perchance to become tomorrow’s lunch.
Forget the sharpie, just order new cards and spend your time connecting with folks and actually shopping/delivering. (The math - if you sharpie 5 cards a minute it will take you 30 HOURS to revise 10,000 cards! )

It’s lunchtime sandwich week again, here in MTT-ville. Yesterday - turkey & cream cheese on toasted cranberry walnut bread. Today - Grilled Swiss cheese & roast beef on whole wheat. Tomorrow - meatball subs, Thursday - Crab Delights (surimi) salad in Kings Hawaiian buns. Friday - burgers.

Today’s odd lunch: a few carrot and celery sticks with bleu cheese dressing to dip into, some cream of wheat with butter, 2% milk and breakfast syrup, a few saltines, diluted OJ and 1/2 of an individual size 20g. protein 2% fat peach Greek yogurt. I really wanted a teeny roast beef sandwich but no rb to be found. I’m on my own for 48 hours for meal prep. We make sacrifices.
