Touristy for sure, which is hard to avoid around Fenway Park. But the vendors are not chains and the food is pretty good. Its also not huge, we’ve been in some where there are too many options, no room to sit or be out of the traffic stream.
We sat at their counter, the staff were very nice and we ate and watched the LA Dodger fans wander around.

Do you mean caramel toffee crunch? I got all excited thinking there was a new flavor to try. Love coffee ice cream.

They’re in Lisboa (the first in 2014), Boston, NYC, Montreal, Chicago (all in 2019), and Dubai (2021), and opening in Porto and Cape Town “soon”.

Yeah, you’re right. Especially since I usually won’t buy coffee ice cream (but don’t mind a taste on occasion). Same hand to type the T or C…just a different row. And brain fry what with my electric going dim and dealing with THAT issue (still isn’t fixed).

I was going to say “Look on the bright side” but that would be rather dimwitted of me.

Nathan’s natural-casing hot dogs in ww buns, homemade baked beans (from a can of pork and beans), steamed broccoli-caulifower-cabbage mix with cheese sauce. I returned most of the beans in favor of chocolate cake for dessert.

Pork souvlaki, made with some frozen Iberian pork spiedini sold at an Italian shop, purchased tzatziki, purchased melitzanasalata, purchased sourdough, spaghetti squash with maple and pumpkin pie spice, fried garlic tomatoes. Watermelon, cookies (pecan chocolate chip sable baked by rstuart!) , and a couple Polish cherry Jaffa cakes. Now to go get some steps :joy:

No photos of dinner, but here are photos of the pork

and the farmstand set up at the highway rest stop, where I bought my squash and watermelon.

A welcome 20 minute down pour today. Been months since we had any rain. Service guy is supposed to be here on Wednesday to install a new control panel for oven. Hamburger patties with brown gravy (mix). Apricot preserves/butter glazed carrots. Buttery mashed potatoes with cheddar, horseradish, sour cream and jalapeños (his idea). And a special treat just for me since he won’t touch it with a ten foot pole. Stove Top stuffing. A little scoop of cranberry sauce to go along side. Because well, why not.:slightly_smiling_face:

Wow - Crispy bacon fat fried eggplant to go along side/or inside a BLT. I never would have thought of that. Thanks!

Thanks Christina. Kinda got away from internet posting, and food photography. Cooking a bit less since fully retired. Starting to get back in the groove but more mundane meals as wifey has developed some heart issues.

Currently have the big house on the market. Having to keep my home looking like a model home is getting old
