I found ours here in Waltham at Dion’s on Lexington St.!
Just saw this. Herzliches Beileid.
Have the house to myself for awhile tonight. Chinese buffet takeout was in order. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. Last of the spicey chili crisp (need to buy more) and hot mustard.
I needed something simple tonight as the 2-day long headache isn’t letting go.
Roasted Frankenchicken breast seasoned with olive oil and Penzeys Florida Pepper, augmented with some dried lemon powder. Steamed green beans with butter and s/p.
Just back from a 4:00 showing of Oppenheimer. Liked it mostly…too many previews up front and the audio was too loud. But that could be an age thing.
Anyways…flatbread for dinner, left over roasted peppers and onions for topping.
Try a heating pad on your neck, if you have one.
Grilled pork tenderloin, bbq sauce, onions and baby bell peppers, cotc. Salad of snow peas, radishes, red onion with ranch dressing. Beefeater martini rocks and wine.
Greek diner dinner redux. Here with chicken-zucchini meatballs (cumin the main spice). Raita. Hummus. Greek salad. Soft pita wraps.
Have you tried drinking strong black coffee??
When I have one of those headaches, I’ll brew a pot of strong black coffee and take an “over the counter” pain reliever. It works some of the time.
I can’t drink coffee past noon, or I’m awake all night. I’ll take a Tylenol before going to sleep in the hopes it’ll help.
If there’s a chance it’s muscular, might try sleeping on a heating pad. Hope it’s a distant memory very soon!
We found some nice local corn and an heirloom tomato at a farm stand this morning. Second time making Ina Garten’s fresh corn salad. Our basil is growing like wildfire. First Caprese salad of the season. Grilled strip steaks. Tasted like summer!
That looks very nice and very summer-y.
Please be sure you drinking enough water, which you probably know. But it is easy in this heat to get dehydrated. Feel better!
Friday night fish
Doctored Teriyaki-sauced baked salmon, ginger garlic shrimp, baked beans, corn, cauliflower.
Followed by a cinnamon sugar cronut, peanut butter brownies from the farmers’ market, and local strawberries.
I saw that foil wrapped fortune cookie there. Sound advice.
Are you dehydrated? Migraine prone? I hope you kick its butt into the next world!
