Grillin’ on Memorial Day!
Memorial Day seemed like a good day to pull out the Weber and get my grillin’ feet wet. Korean BBQ also seemed like the simplest way to do it. Living next to Koreatown doesn’t hurt.
Marinated Kalbi (short ribs) & thin Wagyu Brisket
Pork Belly
I bought pork belly at Farmers Market and sliced it myself. I might try slicing it partially frozen next time for thinner cuts.
Pickled Things & Kimchi
Homemade Ssamjang (spicy dipping sauce)
Fresh Rice Wraps, Enoki Mushrooms, Lettuce, Sweet Pickled Daikon, Perilla Leaves
There was Beer.
Next night…
Fired up the rest of the Kalbi
Made Salad & Dressing w/the Sides
Baked Potato w/the PSTOB, Sour Cream & Chives
Happy Grillin’!
Your burger toppings are exactly what I would top a burger with, if I had them all at the same time!!
Not odd. It’s like a cobb salad on a burger & bun. Yum.
Thanks @sasha and @TheCookie, good to know i am not alone.
wow, I want it right now
