What's for Dinner #47 - the Halfway Through The Year Edition - July 2019

We had an excellent dinner at Le Salbuen in Montclair, NJ. We shared several appetizers including a literal flaming chorizo sausage that came out on fire. It had a nice char and snap to it. We also had awesome duck tacos with purple kimchi, in a cilantro lime emulsion. Our 3rd appetizer was a crispy short rib and blue cheese empanada.
For entrees I had the fork tender braised duck frites with kimchi, Parisian carrots, onion, tomato, in a Chianti gravy. Mrs. P had Asian crusted sweet potato with sesame stir fried vegetables, brown rice, and avocado.
It all went great with a 2014 Mas Champart French red blend.
