Thanks for the recipe and review. Your soup looks delicious. Pozole is one of my go to orders and may have to try this version.

From the NYT Chermoula Potato and Fish Stew made almost exactly as the recipe directs but not quite. I omitted the potatoes and served the fish over leftover baked rice with peas. The recipe only called for lemon juice in the marinade but I added extra for serving as I thought the flavor could use some brightening.

The avocados I purchased last week finally ripened, so I made Sunshine a big platter of SUSHI!! These rolls were California Rolls, but with Ahi Tuna instead of crab. I had just enough Ahi Tuna for my girl to really enjoy herself. Neighbor #2 doesn’t really like sushi, so she & I had leftover perogies (from the freezer).

Lovely gooey grilled cheese! And glad the surgery went well. Hopefully once the nerve block wears off, there’s not too much discomfort (or something that pain meds can easily handle).

Popped a coupla oxys in anticipation of a rough first PT. I usually avoid opioids as they make me barfy & woozy (srsly, will never stand the appeal besides taking the edge off the pain), but in this case I should probz be prepared :grimacing:

Broiled perch with thyme and lemon. A mysterious container pulled from the freezer which turned out to be curried Romanesco cauliflower and potatoes.

Toasted Austrian Pumpkinseed Oil is some sublime stuff! Love it.

Good to see you here again.

I substituted Herdez roasted green salsa for the tomatillo component (still adding jalapeño, garlic, herbs onion, etc) – worked well. And I didn’t have epazote so subbed with the suggested cilantro.

Thanks for the tips. My local bodega carries epazote but I’ve never tried. This might give me the push I need.
