Yes… I have the Kanopy app, as well as Hoopla.

If its FREE its on my Roku!!

After too many years of overpaying for cable, I “cut the cord” and went with a Roku box.

Tacos de lengua (or chilaquiles con lengua) are how we rate Mexican restaurants.

It’s rare that our Oaxacan place has them, but I adore tongue.

I gotta say tacos de lingua are my favorite. I order them whenever they are on the menu.

Great news.

Super early dinner tonight. Char-broiled banquet burger and fries from my local joint, HP/mayo for dipping and a frosty cold Coke to wash it down.

I had a late morning appointment to get fit for a CPAP machine so hopefully I can see sleep a bit better at night🤞 I had to head home after to drop off the machine then off to run errands. Dinner tonight was tomatoes and green beans with an evoo red wine vinaigrette then spaghetti with a marinara sauce.

A relaxing day. Except when the recycling truck began to pull out of my row without picking up my bin at the end of the row. I had been walking out to pull in both the regular trash and recycling bins and saw him backing out. I waved my arms, and he pulled back up and dumped it, then got out of his truck and apologized, saying he was bird watching and forgot! Well, that was a first! But he was really nice, we wished each other a Happy Thanksgiving, and he went on his way to deal with the rest of the complex.

Dinner was easy: Gorton’s Extra Crispy Beer Battered fish filets on a Wegmans club roll with a mayo/seafood sauce/horseradish sauce and red leaf lettuce.

Side were some L-W French fries, and a green and purple cabbage slaw with chopped radishes with a mayo and maple-mustard dressing.

Wine.

And I made some Pumpkin Cranberry Bread to bring to my sister’s SIL’s house tomorrow as a thank you for inviting me to dinner (along with bottles of Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and a red blend as my contribution to Thanksgiving dinner).

Peda in ice cream is an interesting combination; now I want some!

A surprisingly tasty impromptu, fusion creation - Hong Kong style Club Sandwich with plum sauce spread paired with Cantonese style Roasted Goose??!!😆

The initial Michelin guide restaurant located in Tai Wai, New Territory, Hong Kong, which I originally wanted to try, was unbelievably packed at 5:30 pm on a normal week day!!

Walking around the area in search of an acceptable replacement, I came across this Cantonese roasted meat specialist / fast food cafe displaying some yummy looking Roasted Goose. As such, I decided to give it a try.

Scrutinizing the menu, apart from the Goose, there was nothing in particular that really caught my eyes. As such, I went with my gut feel and ordered one of my favorite craving…Hong Kong Style Club Sandwich.

Eating the combo together and dipping the sandwiches occasionally into the Roasted Goose Plum Sauce. The end result created a surprisingly delightful and tasty mouthfeel…now if only I can have a nice glass of German off-dry Riesling to wash it all down! Yumm!😋😜👍

Pan pizza and salad. Best I could muster on a pre- holiday day.
