Using the chorizo as garnish looks so appealing. Now I know how I’ll be using some of that chorizo I bought this week.
Yay! That is always welcome news, lifting that cloud. Keep up the good health!
So happy for you. Enjoy every bit of your vacay!
Very happy for you and congratulations!
Tonight I’m making the Herb Garden Lasagna from The Herbal Kitchen cookbook. I have fresh basil to use up. It is a lovely light lasagna that I’ve had in my repertoire for over a decade. Bon Appétempt: Herb Garden Lasagna (bonappetempt.com)
yay on the good health!
and one of these days, I will make it back there!
Kiss everyone drunkenly and sloppily for me! Matt too!
You will be missed bigly, chica
I am staying late at school for a parent function. We got free pizza and salad. Can’t complain!
Raining here. Pan fried burgers with cheese and Wolfbrand chili. Alexia onion rings and a couple of dill pickles.,
Dinner was cheese and pepperoni pizza, wings, Philadelphia cheesesteak egg rolls, tortilla chips and salsa, and plenty of libations.
It all went well with multiple games of bowl(ing) and arcade games played with about 20 coworkers at Wamesit Lanes in Tewksbury. (Thankfully just half a town away from my house. )
And tomorrow is Friday.
Yay!!! That’s absolutely great news to celebrate! Don’t hold back:+1:t2:
Thank you for this link - it looks delicious, and right up our alley.
Thank you! Sounds delish
I took a 14.6km/9km walk today and went to a number of stores…including a Hispanic supermarket and a Sprouts supermarket/health food store. At the hispanic supermarket, I bought a favorite vegetable which I could never find in Japan…JICAMA❗️It was only 2 lbs for $1.00…while across the street at Sprouts it was $1.79 a lb. I do love ethnic markets…a got a whole jicama for $0.38❗️
I had the jicama sliced to go along with pan fried chicken breast patties and Swiss cheese on Hawaiian buns with blue cheese dressing, tomato and dill pickles. I bought the chicken bread patties using a digital coupon at Smith’s supermarket. It was my first time ever using a digital coupon and the clerk at the self-checkout registers couldn’t have been more helpful!! One of biggest surprises in returning to the US is how friendly store clerks are here. In most of Japan clerks (not so much restaurant staff) are rather perfunctory in their jobs, but never rude.
Potato salad - potatoes, red onion and asparagus were roasted in the oven and afterwards mixed with a vinaigrette made from olive oil, Dijon mustard, shallots, garlic and lemon juice
I love Hawaiian sweet rolls. Now I have an old shrimp recipe in mind. Thanks.
Not enough pickles!
I like them with certain things…they fit very well with this combination. I hope your shrimp recipe turns out well!
