The sauce almost looks heart shaped. It would make a great Valentine’s Day treat.

Maple pecan butter tart from a local bakery :pinched_fingers:t2:.
Thought about saving half for later, but you know :grimacing::man_shrugging:t2:

I went to a demo-style cooking class, with samples, last night and learned how to make crepes with various filling and sauces. I practiced my technique tonight for our dinner - crepes for our main (chicken-filled) and 2 desserts, one of which was Crepes Suzette (orange butter sauce). Not flambe. I am happy to have a new skill and fun, tasty, meal options.

We were ALL OUT OF BAKLAVA :scream:, and my bestie had only ever tried mediocre, mass-produced iterations of the famous Dubai chocolate. Both needed to be remedied, so after our fab day at my favorite lake we swung by the baklava / Dubai chocolate purveyor.

Now she gets the hype

I picked up some Lori Anne peaches at Wegmans yesterday. They’re only there for a short time, and are SO good! I made a peach cake that was very light, but it wasn’t as peachy as I had hoped. Still, it was very tasty, and I’m certainly not tossing it!
