What's for breakfast (aka what's going to happen exciting today)?

Not enough real-estate for the fillings, I prefer the doughier bagels I get here in T.O anyway(Gryfe’s are my favorites) for both sandwiches and just monching. Montreal bagels are too sweet and dense for me.

Banana in smoothies or shakes okay?

More of the zucchini-scallion egg slice. Bacon. Freshly baked, whole wheat Harvest Grain toast. Garden tomatoes. Basil spread. Chili crisp. To fill out the rainbow, a variety of homemade jams and jellies: cherry, blueberry, peach, and apple (I had a little of each).

Yes! I think of that often, and do my best to eat a wide variety of colors from what’s available. This especially in the summer! :yum:

Especially in summer!

Not for me!

The only banana drink I would order is a Bahama Mama.

I don’t make smoothies or shakes because I don’t like cleaning blenders. :joy: I’ve never made a smoothie at home.

Bacon AND sausage, 2 eggs side by each, tomatoes w S&P and EVOO and one of the last remaining St-Viateur bagels fir brunch.

Isn’t that strawberry Frostie so bad it’s good?

Wendy’s has strawberry frosties?

Indeed! They taste like Quick.

I’m sort of ambivalent about it.

There are moments when it reminds me too much of Pepto Bismo.

Yikes!

A coupla slices from a favorite purveyor: fresh spinach/ricotta/pine nuts & chanterelles. Love that the place has no SM presence and is thusly not inundated with Berliners and tourists alike who see nothing wrong with waiting on line for 30-60 min for the latest hyped up food place

Sautéed corn, red onion, and zucchini, tomatoes and fresh oregano added off heat. Added to an omelette with some feta.
