Scrambled eggs with Marie Sharpe’s hot sauce and peameal bacon from the pricey butcher. That bacon is far better than the grocery store varietal so I will change my peameal bacon purveyor.

Decadent breakfast Sunday morning - butter, maple syrup, strawberries and whipped cream. A sausage patty to go with. We did gild the lily for sure.

Typically, oatmeal with berries and walnuts is breakfast.

But alternatives are bagel lox and cream cheese or scrambled eggs

the oatmeal is fantastic. toasted the oats, and added additional water, then cooked down. mixed in chopped granny smith and pecans. keeps in the fridge and reheats nicely.

José Andres’ “magic” MW omelette. Came out more like an overcooked scramble, but was edible. The chorizo def elevated this breakfast, if not exactly to magical levels.
