I mean, the world is still a dumpster fire, but the show must go on as they say.

Breakfast burrito with refried beans, eggs, and cheese. We got some delivery from our favorite Mexican place last night and had some stuff to finish up!

I’m all out of kiwis, so had to make do with booberries and poms.

Looks loverly! You smoke on the BGE, right?

We have both a Bradley electric smoker and the BGE. This latest batch of bacon was done in the Bradley smoker.

Ah! Our Bradley bit the dust when it became rusty over the winter (?) one year. I think I may have even posted about it here. We tried burning it off & scrubbing, and some suggested bleach :scream:

I really dug it for smoked pork butt and whole sides of salmon :frowning:

I’m hopeful to start experimenting with the Primo for smoking once we’re back in the house.

Now, that’s an unusual (to me, that is) combination!

It was an Elvis Presley thing, only he put bananas on it, and then fried the whole sandwich. :scream_cat:

ETA: I think some tart fruit is a must. If the bread hadn’t had cranberries in it, I’d be looking for some jam.

Lovely leftover tomato soup.

I also smashed up half of an obscenely large (well, they were advertised as “jumbo”), perfectly ripe avocado onto a toasted slice of sourdough, topped with TJ’s smoky & hot chili powder, a squeeze of lemon, and sea salt.

Now heading to the Sprouts market for a shucking & cocktail mixing demo. For dessert

Another fridge-cleanout frittata. This one with spinach, rice, bacon and three cheeses: gruyere, parm, and ricotta. Tasty!
