so one of go to drink is lassi, it is a thick refreshing drink made up of yogurt, salt or sugar(do not put both), mint, chat masala powder, you mix it all well and viola, it is ready and tastes refreshing on a hot summer day!

A lot of sweet dishes/drinks benefit from a little bit of salt

Izzy sparkling fruit drink. is delicious. Sold in can packs, lots of flavors. Sold at Target, Sprouts, online. Blackberry flavor is so much better than a soda version.

Try Spindrift - for us the best “fruited sparkling water” with a very reasonable calorie amount compared to Izze and others

I have tried raspberry Spindrift, which I liked but Izze has a more fruit forward taste. Calories aside, it’s not always easy to find Izze. I’ve paid $2.50 at Sprouts for a 4 pack on sale and $4.99 for a 4 pack at Target.

A dirty horchata. (Horchata with a shot of espresso)

I like dirty chai a little more, but I would order a dirty horchata again.

Mexican horchata, or Spanish?
Or another that eludes?

I’ve never heard of Spanish horchata. Here in North America, you’ll probably only encounter the Mexican version, made with rice milk and lots of cinnamon, so I’m assuming that’s what @Phoenikia had.

I didn’t like Spanish horchata. It’s made with something called tiger nuts/ chufa. https://spainonafork.com/authentic-spanish-horchata-recipe/

The word horchata is related etymologically to orgeat, which is made with almonds. ( Not sure why I mistakenly thought orgeat was made with barley, edited to write almonds!)

The dirty horchata I ordered is made with espresso and Mexican horchata. One could use Spanish horchata or orgeat, I suppose.

Very familiar with everything that you mentioned~
In any event, now I want to try a carajillo (a cocktail with espresso and Licor 43) with Mexican horchata.

This is the reason I mistakenly misremembered the barley connection.
