Would you share the recipe? Sounds good.
Try crème caramel. Goes down really well, and very nutritious. Great when you’re not well, as well as when you are well.
I just finished Sunshine’s Valentine’s Day Cake… I know a piece will be missing by morning, so I better get a picture of it now.
Happy Valentine’s Day to all the Hungry Onion posters who celebrate this holiday. I do hope you and your significant other have a wonderful day!!
Sure, in a few days.
This one has worked perfectly for me.
A masterpiece
I baked another bourbon whiskey bundt for a friend’s birthday tomorrow night (thanks @LulusMom1). @Aubergine I was able to turn it out after 10 minutes with no sticking after having used a heavy coating of baking spray followed by a cocoa powder. Hope this helps!
Thanks. It is as good as it looks.
Perfection
I also use that recipe, never fails! Yours looks delish and the cherry pie is to die for!
Heart cake (Golden Butter box mix) with cocoa/butter frosting. I wanted to put several of the heart-shaped sprinkled decorations on it. This first one was so touchy to accomplish I decided to leave well enough alone. Those little chocolate barrel shape sprinkles roll!
Understated and elegant!
Very Pretty…
Freezer-dive bread pudding, post-holiday edition: Panettone, fig pudding, cinnamon twist bread, halved cranberries, diced candied orange peel, and a good slug of dark rum in the custard. Baked up with a nice soft set.
Thank you! looks great.
I’ve had a craving for maple-blueberry scones since the discussion on extracts (here), so I made the Dorie/Joanne Chang version from NYT.
I by-passed the stand-mixer, and did everything by hand, grating in most of the butter and chopping up the last bit. I used unsweetened dried blueberries, briefly soaked – 80 grams for the full batch. The dough was mixed yesterday and rested an hour before shaping. Those which didn’t go from there into the freezer got an overnight rest – covered – in the fridge.
Baked and glazed – excellent. As good as anything you could get from a bakery.
