I so agree
Vanilla sprinkle scones from Sarah Kieffer’s website Absolutely delicious
A simple almond cake with a thin, slightly crispy crust. I brushed it with candied orange syrup while still warm. A slice was served with some pistachio crème and berry sauce. The cake itself would be nice for breakfast as well.
Finally made a Russian Honey Cake! Been considering it for a long time. What a project!
Delicious, lovely flavor. After I can say the batter was much easier to spread on the sili pad than parchment.
Very impressive, looks fantastic!
Looks wonderful!
Did you enjoy it in the end?
It is really good! Worth the effort. Sorry I don’t have a bigger audience but comments mention it freezes well.
Yes wow “What a project!” I agree … and thank you for taking pictures at each step, too. It is beautiful.
Those are adorable!
OMG gorgeous! I wish I could taste that.
So fun to see the step by step! Glad you liked the result!!
Is it my imagination or is there a lot of baking going on? This is Cottage Cheese Bread, plain but nice. Found recipe here

That recipe looks great and I’m saving it. What are the speckles on your crust?
Agree there is a lot of comfort baking going on!
Those are the little cottage cheese curds. I hope
Recipe calls for small curd, but I used large.
I just bought cottage cheese for savory breakfast muffins. Hmm.
Dill buttermilk yeasted bread. I am doing lots of baking between shoveling. I made this to use up more buttermilk (instead of freezing it) and because I want to make meatloaf sandwiches this week. This definitely has a tang, as the buttermilk is the only liquid, but it is soft and has a nice crust.
Also made a banana bread today but no photo.
Any chance you have a link? I have more buttermilk…
It’s from Everyday Bread by America’s Test Kitchen. I’ll send you a photo of the recipe.
Scones with sprinkles? Mine eyes have never seen such sweetness!
Special occasion?
