We basically have to lock the cats out of whenever we cook or eat. They are absolutely tenacious and sneaky.
It’s a good thing their dinner time is about the same as ours, 7:30. Although they tend to eat faster than we do (a feat, for sure 
), and then the spray bottle gets ample use.

They don’t. Jonesy is usually soaked at the end of the day. He gets on the kitchen counter / in the sink / on the stove & gets sprayed. One minute later he’s back up again. Zero learning curve, very clean fur

Well, Mrs. P finally beat me into submission, and we just put a down payment on a shaded golden Persian cat 
The mother just had 4 kittens on February 12 (2 boys and 2 girls). We will get first pick of one of the boys. He will be 12 weeks old, and ready for pickup on May 12 
Unfortunately, the breeder lives in Troy, PA (3 1/2 hours away). The breeder recommended a pet transport service that only delivers one pet at a time, and guarantees same day service, so we will probably use that service.
Below is a picture of the baby’s momma, Sunni, and a picture of each of the boys at 1 week old. We will probably choose a boy after about a month, so we can get a better grasp of the looks and personality. The best thing about the golden Persian is that they have doll faces (with bigger noses, and not flat ones, like regular Persians, and their eyes won’t tear up as much, like Gucci’s used to). The Golden Persians also have beautiful green eyes with black shading that looks like mascara
