Trashing My Beans!?

So last night I heated a can of traditional refried beans… starting with fresh onion in EVOO, then fresh salsa, followed by the beans, water, salt, fresh lime juice, and spices. They came out nice.

Woke up this morning to see the sauce pan on the counter uncovered (where they were put to cool last night before covering and popping in the fridge). They are toast, right?

I wouldn’t risk it …not worth it!

I think they sound great ON toast.

Purely anecdotal, but I routinely leave refrieds out for the next morning’s breakfast. No disasters yet, maybe they’re homeopathic?
