Didn’t see the Yuzu kosho (and it’s not listed on their website yet) but I did see this Yuzu miso spread — almost bought but then I looked at the ingredients and sugar is first, so I put it back.
They still have the yuzu hot sauce they’ve had for years, plus there’s a new yuzu green tea spread.
No, I love the taquitos as enchiladas thing, the green goddess seasoning into dip, the watermelon juice with vodka, and the chimichurri as part of a vinaigrette (genius- I always have a little of these things left over and this is the perfect hack to use up the rest).
I saw yuzu kosho at a local Bay Area store a few weeks ago.
New thread:
A friend tried the carrot cake sheet cake and the lemon one, said both were good, we don’t eat too much cake but will likely give it a try at some point.
We have liked the carrot sheet cake. It’s not especially carrotty (more of a spice cake) and the frosting is a bit sweet, but it’s enjoyable. Just had a square for breakfast.
Big fan of the all-butter-crust strawberry rhubarb hand pies. Nicely tart and yum. Best with vanilla ice cream.
Also enjoying the Califorinia extra choice apricots. They taste fresh, have a nice chew, and aren’t very sweet. Next up: soft and juicy apricots, which are steamed.
I’ve been eyeing the freezer Tres Leches but haven’t bought it yet.
Cautious YEA for the frozen Pad See Ew.
Cautious because it’s a garlic bomb, which is par for the course for the dish, but still bears mention.
Good proportion of vegetables and tofu, and the noodles didn’t suffer for being frozen, which is more than I can say for the fresh Ho fun I buy to make the dish myself!
I used to buy Whole Foods’ version of this, which they discontinued, so I hope this one survives because I prefer it to Pad Thai.
Returned for several boxes of the lemon pesto, dried lemon pasta, a lemon infused cheese, cherry plums, rhubarb strawberry hand pies, dolma, eggplant and bean cans, canned trout and smoked mussels, olive bread baguette’s, lavash, green tea bags, and flowers for my lovely.
A fun haul. Thxs for the rec’s.
Wondering if you heated the pastry?
Yes, and it got crazy soft in parts but nicely melted the ice cream.
thanks, gonna give this a try!

We tried the pizza crackers and the pizza puffs. Really not good. never again.
