Tighter regulations or a ban on gas stoves coming?

They all leak.

If you’re psychologically invested in believing otherwise that’s your problem, not mine.

Freaks are going to be freaks about something. At the moment, it’s natural gas leaks from stoves. It’s the same crowd who are still wearing masks everywhere they go. They aren’t living unless they’re scared of something.

You’d be better off worried about the lint in your home’s air from your clothes dryer (none vent perfectly). Brown lung is a thing. Maybe the next thing. Maybe they’ll want to outlaw your dryer next.

Are you naturally this friendly, or did you take a class?

I think this is my concern too. It isn’t so much that people want to take care of themselves. It is that the order of importance is out of whack. Anyway, I think one time I asked Mark Bittman about health benefits of eating organic and what not. I thought his answer was perfect. In short, he said it is more important to know what kind foods.
e.g. it is healthier to eat more non-organic vegetables than worry about drinking organic vodka.

Just a keen observer of the obvious.

I’m just holding a mirror. You see what you see.

That’s what I’m saying. I skimmed through a dozen of your posts. Anything meaningful that you may have to say is dramatically undermined, and obscured, by your pugnacious attitude. It’s a food forum, not a boxing ring.

OK. I can live with that.

Wise people understand they’d be adding years on the backside of their lives, not the front end. I hate it, but it’s true.

My suggestion is go to a restaurant you think you can’t afford, then order the wine you think you can’t afford. And enjoy every second of it.

You should reconsider your delivery. Think what you want about whomever you want. But have a little respect that this is a forum that many of us go to, to enjoy some conversation about some topics we mutually find interesting. And not a place where we go to to get a beating from someone whose opinion is different.

so your opinion is okay, but his opinion is not okay?

His opinion is his opinion. His delivery is combative.

I disagree. A mirror shows you exactly what you put in front of it. A person’s opinion of your opinion is not a mirror. It is their opinion of your opinion. When people can’t say their opinion of a gas stove without also telling others that they will stupidly worry themselves to death about inconsequential things (inconsequential to the speaker obviously), then that is a delivery issue. On a forum where people go in order to interact, not to be beaten down with ad hominem attacks. That’s my OPINION.

I didn’t even put forth an opinion on the particular topic, so I find your words odd. And also just so the mods are aware, when I say that your delivery is rough or cruel or combative, and you tell me I’m having a bad day and don’t have enough pillows, that is a personal, ad hominem attack. And you don’t deserve to participate in a forum like this.

Actually you should maintain your dryer vent by cleaning it regularly. I mean the vent to outside, not just the lint screen.

I had a client whose house caught on fire due to a buildup of lint in the vent.

I don’t understand why you mock people who get vaccines.

Don’t you realize that if you’re alive and not sick you’ll have more adventures?
