I’ve only ever used the can myself. I was attempting humor thinking you guys were getting together for lunch and it would be a quick fix.

Got it.

I start with the can and add extra fennel, onions and tomato paste. It’s become kind of a ritual. I always go to the same small grocer/deli to get the sauce and bucatini. The man behind the counter thinks I’m Sicilian and always asks me why this pasta is topped with breadcrumbs. Little does he know I’m Russian.

They say it is because Joseph was a carpenter and it was to resemble sawdust. The skeptic in me says it was because they were poor and couldn’t get the cheese!

Yeah. He asked me the first time I was there and I didn’t know but I made a point of knowing after that. He also tries to convince me to buy the cream puffs.

Had lunch here today. First time having a burger. I chose the Titanic burger off the specials blackboard and it was great. It is two 6oz pat lafrieda mix patties, 2 thick slices of yellow American cheese, fried red onions, 3 slices double cut smoked bacon, bbq sauce and a fresh brioche roll toasted in bacon and beef fat. It was great and i highly recommend it.

Wow, not that’s a burger! And I love how they toasted the roll. They are doing it right!

This looks great! I love that combination they came up. I dont think you need anything more than some salt on that beauty.

Ps. It is great to see someone caring about the product they are putting out. I look forward to trying this place and meeting Kris.
