Today marked the second time I’ve purchased this boxed stock. The first time, I tried it just for sipping.
When Swanson calls it “spicy”, they mean it–it surprised me. It also seems richer than the regular, which has always stuck me as insipid by itself.
When I saw it again today, it was flanked by a spicy beef version, so I came home with a few boxes of each. The first box of beef went into a simple shabushabu with green onion and radish. I thought it was remarkably good for something so easily thrown together.
Anyone else try the spicy Swanson Stocks?
