Substack - How many subscriptions do you have?

Most of the recipe writers seem to be going to substack and have monthly/annual fees for most of them. Currently I only pay for a subscription to David Lebovitz’s newsletter. I started years ago when he had a website blog. I love his writing and plan on keeping his subscription. However, there many writers with newsletters you can subscribe to but the costs can add up fast. Everyone needs to make a living and their time and talent is worth something. The authors reference each other a lot and they can probably subscribe to quite a few and write it off on their taxes, but the rest of us have to assess what is affordable and reasonable for each of us. As much as it’s nice to avoid advertising/commercials, someone has to foot the bill.

Actually this question should also include any site you pay a subscription fee such as America’s Test Kitchen or The New York Times.

I had to Google to find out what Substack is. But to answer the questions - zero for that , or any other site. If it ain’t free, I don’t want to play.

NYT Cooking is the only subscription I have that is food-related, but who knows… after @digga’s recent encouragement I may just start publishing my own Substack newsletter :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
