[St. Thomas, Ontario]

I’ve been shopping in St. Thomas, Ontario more frequently lately. I’ll post about the businesses I like, and some businesses I would like to try.

For groceries, I like Briwood Market. The produce is fantastic and priced well. Lots of Dutch and German imports, too.

Today’s flat white and an Easter box from Streamliners.

The nicest fishmonger in southwestern Ontario. Steelhead supplies the nicer markets and restaurants in London.

Ruby Blues, a tea room that also offers Sunday Roasts and an Easter supper

Herm’s Snack Wacky, a chip wagon and burger spot

Opa’s Pretzels

Taco Loco in Talbotville

We tried the birria, Asada and carnitas tacos…3 tacos and a jarritos for around $19.

Hot cross bun from a Mennonite bakery at the St Thomas Farmers’ Market

I also bought some Hungarian sausage, mild Italian sausage, and marinated lamb shoulder from Quaker Springs Farm, which has a stand at the Saturday Farmers’ Market.

I have officially outgrown my aversion to stealth mustard.
