I heard recently that the food safe silicone zipper bags are preferable to the regular plastic ziplocks for SV because of the disintergration of the plastic.
Thanks, I would prefer that. The largest Stash we have isn’t big enough and it sure is hard to get the air out. In fact, I stopped using it because of that issue, was at least getting one side of opened prosciutto in it but couldn’t get the air out so finally stopped using it for that. Maybe there’s been more development in this area, especially for sous vide which requires removing air and a good seal.
