Well, a travel ban certainly put a different spin on the snowstorm / blizzard in nyc

I cooked off a few things that I had planned from Cookbooks of the Month and were marinating: Chicken Musakhan and Catalan Chicken.
Also a few vegetables to mix & match: Turkish Fasulye / stewed green beans, garlic broccoli, and butternut squash roasted with spices (half already eaten as a wintry Fattoush).
Today seems like a good day to try the viral dumpling lasagna (and maybe no-fold dumplings too), since there’s nowhere to go, it’s snowing harder now than it was last night, and I did stock up on the ingredients in anticipation.
Also feeling like something stew-y or soup-y. I have a jar of double-concentrated homemade chicken stock, still thinking about which way to take it.
