Silliness & Food Funnies 2019

Well you sure couldn’t roll out tortillas with the original version. Kudos to the team that figured out how to design it as a multi-tasker.

 Thanks for the “lovely” image. Sometimes I wish I didn’t have a vivid imagination.

Agree @winecountrygirl! Reminds me of a great Greek resto I used to love decades ago. One morning, having brunch there, had to go to the loo, walked past men’s room, door was cracked open several inches, saw one of the cook’s sitting - no enclosed toilet. Never went back, ever. Could only hope he washed his hands. Not sure if I could eat or finish food. However, as the caption said, when you gotta go, you gotta go!

Seeing the bag of possibly my dinner on the floor of the toilet stall did it for me!

Yes, the imagery just too much @winecountrygirl

Is this a faux pas?

Shamed for microwaving fish at work.

For banana fans. I am a fruit monster but hate bananas…

Never get a glass table. Besides, I don’t like see feet and legs whilst eating.

This is the one we buy from the asian market too. And Milo.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a good bone in doughnut. Gosh darn I wish they weren’t so hard to source…

AND they’re a dollar off the original price!

How are you supposed to make doughnut stock without the bones?

Sad but so true…lmao

Never tried Milo. What’s the “taste” supposed to be like? I have tried Horlicks and I like that too.

But it saves so much time from my having to spatchcock my donuts. I’m all for these!

Maybe these doughnuts are bone-in. There goes the stock.

Look again. It’s a bottle of gel. Could have other uses if one is creative

I want to see more of this in other shops. I remember reading about a bakery in southern Germany which has glass walls so people could see how breads are made and the hard work that goes into it. The idea is to attract people to be interested the profession and keep the tradition going.

Would be even cooler if “UFO” was elevated on stilts.

Why the hell would someone do this?!

Spoke too soon. Shortly after this 2 infected Brits entered NZ with permission to visit a dying relative.

Mine too, Stephen. Mine too. (And probably all the introverts’ around the world)
