My friend loves the French toast at Bonjour Brioche in Leslieville.

(As PedroPero knows, I am not a fan of any French toast. LOL)

Birthday cake from Amadeus hazelnut crunch as the birthday person wanted dairy free. Went well and even the filling was ok I could barely feel the oil that was used to achieve that effect.

Picked up a queen Amman from Castle and coal as slim pickings today. Filled with dulce de leches I wasn’t keen on it let’s see how it plays out

Kougin Amman went well and while I am partial towards the plain version somehow this batch felt a lot better as the sugar was caramelized between layers which is how I remember it.
Also passed by eataly Yorkville today to check out their promos. The pistachio Amaretti looked very enticing hmmm should have picked up fresh made one’s when I was in near Forno Cultura recently

Today was a pleasant visit to Flippers to get a pancake fix (usually done at home) I had the mix fruit version today and noticed a bunch of savory items as the pancakes are great as usual even though they come with maple infused whip cream I decided to do the add of maple syrup as well.

Decided to try Cafe x Bica nearby today. Setup is very nice. Hmmm other than Orange Cake other items didn’t entice. Good stuff. I have a good espresso setup at home so seldom have coffee drinks outside this cappuccino was decent as well.
