Funny. I showed this picture to mom. Her first reaction was to wonder if the whites could soak a bit in beet juice to turn them into pink tulips. 
Guess at 94 she’s still got it.

This was actually my plan - make pickled eggs with beet juice, then devil them. I love them that way no matter what they look like, so the tulip presentation is just a bonus!
