I like various versions of masala fries, most recently at Leela’s in Little India - curry spices with drizzles of sweet-tangy tamarind, yoghurty something, mint, cilantro, and other stuff.
The fries on the rooftop of the Broadview Hotel were fun, with ramen seasoning and kewpie mayo.

Primanti Bros in Pittsburgh does put fries in its sandwiches and on its salads.
I tried Chowder fries in Salem and saw them on menus in Boston. Probably won’t order them again, but they are kind of fancy!
