It turns out my household prefers grits to polenta. We found out last night.

LOW COUNTRY - Fall 2024 (Oct-Dec) Cuisine of the Quarter

I made cheese grits following this recipe, mostly, but substituting local Gruyère for cheddar. We liked them a lot. [PXL_20241017_224036597~2] These aren’t Low Country cheese grits, with the recipe coming from Kentucky. The fact I even made cheese grits was inspired by this Low Country topic.
