Because they go in though an artery they have to make sure it’s good and stoppered. You don’t want to pop like a bottle of champagne . Glad you’re out the other side! Enjoy dinner. Don’t forget ginger ale
. Kitties will be thrilled!!!
@LindaWhit
Do take care and keep us posted as you recover from this and go forward!
Thanks for the update LW! Hopefully you can be sprung soonest to go home.
GREAT news and I hope more of the same is to come❣️
Yay!!
And welcome to the 3-Stent-Club, @LindaWhit . I had two stents put in back in 2004, and a third stent in Dec 2020.
It’s an elite club!
OMG!
SHE’S HOME!!!
YEAH!! Great News…
YAYYYYYYYYYYY! Bet the boyz are freaking out (in a good way)!
I’m hoping to see pictures of “the boyz” welcoming her home. I’m betting they won’t leave Linda’s side while she is resting.
Well, freaking out, yes. Pics no… At least not yet.
Murphy hollering from upstairs, wouldn’t come down while Sis was still here. Finnegan, on the other hand, remained behind my reclining chair refusing to even look at me. I was being punished. but he came out for a few pats later, and later jumped up on ottoman for some head kisses. Can’t pick him up yet because he weighs more than a gallon of miik. Murphy has climbed on to my lap twice for cuddles.
But they both had to wait for…the BEST DAMN SHOWER EVER! Washed my hair twice.
Before getting home: CVS for 4 new Rxs, then Market Basket for some chicken and veggies (my sister shopped too).
Spent a bit of time finding out where Sis and BIL hid things as they “straightened up”. Some good, some were WTH? I’ll get thrm back in their proper places in the next couple of days.
I’m tired. But it’s a good tired. (And a clean tired!)
A simple dinner tonight, and I’m sure I’ll crash later. Thank you all for your support. It means more than you know.
So good to hear from you from your own home! Congratulations and rest up.
So glad you are home, CLEAN, and with your boyz. Best wishes for speedy full recovery!
No place like home…
Home! And you get to slumber in your very own bed tonight. Perfect.
I fully feel you about the post hospital shower being just the best thing ever.
Glad your back among friends both two and four-legged and on the mend.
I worked at a hospital for 50+ years. Once I had a viral cardiomyopathy and was in the not-ICU-but-watch-'em unit. So I was on the “cardiac diet”, which made me despondent until one night there was a blackened salmon salad, which was far and away the best thing I ate that week. When I got back to work I got the blackened salmon salad every time it showed up in the cafeteria. Not really blackened, but tasty nevertheless
Welcome home!
Make the most of your recovery:smile:
Clean, a recliner, and cats. Got the boxes checked!!
Welcome Home!!
