I thought I said that the market moved but the picture may have overpowered the words. Sorry for any confusion. You could access market form many palces but only one had the flags.
What do you think the square sign “Parking Hub” means? Maybe a landmark we could use?
To be clear - There were flags at an entrance in June when we went but the market is in a different location now. I have no idea if they are still in the same place, are somewhere closer to the current location or not there at all.
Mr Bean and I are both planning on coming but if the winds die down and fishing picks up he may not make it.
The cat situation is under control but we are not going to make it anyways. We have a 12 day vacation coming up and need to finish shopping and such. Have fun!
We’re on our way. ETA per Waze 11:44 but that’s without a p stop I’m sure I’ll have to make. Mr Bean is in gray shorts and black t shirt. I have lots of grey hair which I like to think of as premature but not really anymore.
I’m here at the eastern end of the parking lot, not seeing any flags here so I’ll stroll the parking lot - I have a black and white paisley tote bag with pink straps
A spectacularly sunny day, practically made for an excursion to the SEA market with a few fellow HOs. We had some initial trouble finding each other, but where there’s a will, there’s a way, and — having walked through the market a couple of times already, we didn’t have much trouble choosing various dishes to try. One stand with probably the longest line of all (seemed like a good sign) was offering grilled stuffed chicken wings, various pork & beef sausages, and delicious beef & chicken skewers.
We grabbed a couple of beef skewers for the wait, and also ordered some raw lemongrass pork sausage and a ginormous portion of som tam to take home for dinner tonight. The som tam is crazy hot. I told the guy “spicy, not white people spicy,” and we shall now suffer deliciously
Between our group of 7, we split the grilled sausages, beef, and some of the stuffed wing (it was a little difficult to cut),
the lort cha that @Steve had praised in his post from last year, but which I found to be on the bland side,
