O Seoul O Mio (Korean-Italian pop-up) [Greater Boston]

Dear GBA Onions—I’ve been a little scarce around here lately because I’ve been busy cooking up something new. I’m nervously/excitedly announcing that I’m working on a Korean-Italian concept called “O Seoul O Mio.” I’ve got my business plan and opening menu drawn up, I will be self-financing, now just shopping for a space, preferably near Arlington.

I had so many doubts along the way, but one fateful day, young Spring Onion told me, “mom, you can do anything.” How can I let my little boy down?

Will keep everyone posted!

Dang! You guys weren’t as gullible as last year.

I think I laid it on a little too thick this year.

ETA: I did a quick Google search just now and the name doesn’t look claimed. Maybe I need to claim the domain name!

Ha ha! I think you’re on to something with that name…

Thanks for the giggle.

I’m disappointed that there really isn’t a restaurant with that name though

I have to say - the name is just brilliant! And yes, @Amandarama let me know. It was a DUH on the actual date.

Last year, however, I fell for it.

NGL, you got me (days later)…and I was kind of excited there for a minute. I’m a big fan of Japanese-Italian mashups such as codroe spaghetti, and I was immediately trying to figure out what the Korean dishes would be like before I saw the first reply.

That said: Maybe you have a winning idea on your hands. Grab some capital and create a food truck. What could go wrong?!?!
