Feel like that’s a tough location. But I will be so happy if a good Puerto Rican spot open up locally. Would be great to have something different nearby

And way back when, I believe it was A Kitchen, which had moved there from Rte 520 and Rte 9 (where Moe’s is now).

I think I know where you mean - Just north of the Main St/Rte 35 and Broad St intersection?
Isn’t /Wasn’t there an Asian restaurant in that strip?

Yes believe there was/is an Asian spot. Also the 7/11 and the breakfast spot/greasy spoon.

I think it is the site of the defunct fan favorite Far East Taste. And yes, more recently the ravioli place.

It’s tough to stop for food over there with the shady message therap place across the street

Yes. They mention the restaurant concept on the website, but nothing more than a “coming soon” .

Crown Palace Middletown was the go-to dim sum place for Mark’s Bell Labs work group. That said, we personally preferred the Marlboro location.
I wonder if they are suffering from the same staffing problems that other restaurants are having and decided that one fully staffed restaurant is better than two understaffed ones?

BTW, the “Asian Food Market” next to the Crown Palace Middletown is named “Fresh Food Market” on its cash register tapes.
