Fish order placed and forgot the darn ice cream! Emailed and asked them to add it. The ice cream is not on the email order confirmation. We’ll see!

Hopefully you caught them in time to get the ice cream order added. Do you see an extra charge of $23 on the credit card you used, or does your credit card charge include the extra $23?
Although they advertise Asian food, they are heavily weighted towards Indian food. They are located in Metuchen and I am not sure how far they will deliver. But they also have masks and hand sanitizer:

Tell your friend that the Fair Haven location is in a small strip mall next to an Acme, so there’s plenty of parking there. They also have 3’ high brick walls along the outer edge of the lot that are an ideal place to sit and eat right out of the pint if your friend is inclined to do so.

It was a workout! I wound up with 16 oz of lobster meat and 12 oz of mussels. The stock will be nice and rich.

I just literally had the best bagel of my life at Bay Ave Bakery in Highlands. Toasted with butter on the grill, amazing. And check out the cute little cake burger and cookie fries (with jelly ketchup?) they were working on while I was there!

“South Asian” is Indian, Pakistani, and Bangladeshi. Just plain “Asian” (at least for food) usually means Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, as well as Southeast Asian.

I just drove past Pete & Elda’s in Neptune. They have a crude sign up saying they are closed and will reopen on 5/26.
I called yesterday to order a pizza for my mom, but the call went to voicemail. Now I know why.
There was some kind of repair truck in the parking lot. It was on the bar side, not the kitchen side.

That’s probably a smart idea. I recall someone, maybe @gcaggiano, saying they were a little overwhelmed when he was there. That may have changed but I imagine MDW would be crazy.

I agree 100%, unless of course you brought your own scoop, bowls and spoons in case you wanted to to create your own flavor sampler.
