Our one meal at Sawan was fine, but that was not recently.
Sawan is very good, but I’ve only had their buffet. I imagine their cooked to order dishes would only be better.
My mom sent me a copy of this article about Heirloom Kitchen and what Chef David is doing during this quarantine thing. Got curbside pickup from 2nd Jetty, Sea Bright, last night. We shared a shrimp and chorizo empanada ($16) and ordered a few fish tacos ($5 each) and two hanger steak tacos ($6 each). The food was excellent but I’m stung by the $16 for an average-sized empanada. The ordering/pickup process was seamless.
