Wow!!!
Love the idea of carrot cake as an appetizer!!!
incredible…
I’m seeing some sort of Greg and Justin Chopped vs Mrs. P and JR…
Ummm how many of you is that intended for?
2?
Cake for 8 for 2…
Lol looks like half a sheet cake!!!
Well we had a bunch of leftovers carrots from an Asian cooking adventure a few days prior and could not let them go to waste…
There are three people in the house, and two days later, there’s about half left. Good thing he and I are still having to work and get out of the house, because we’d probably be 400 pounds by now.
HATING. YOU. RIGHT. NOW.
Trust me it’s easier to just hate him all the time.
While Night and Day typically focuses on the “Jersey Shore” crowd it does seem to have a pretty good list of restaurants that are open for pickup and/or delivery in southern Monmouth and northern Ocean counties.
Ooo! Ooo! Me! Me! I judge!
We wanted to support Kunya Siam tonight. I had my usual Pad Prik Khing with the highest level of spice they offer, Justin had Tamarind Chicken, and we shared the crispy beef with Sriracha. Excellent as always.
Had Il Nido’s tonight
Service was prompt delivered to back of SUV on time.
Food was still hot, packaged well ,no spillage. Ordered
Family meal and extra entree Frutti de Mare. Everything as expected, pork chop and chicken were moist. Olive oil cake with huckleberries were also a very nice surprise.
I’ve had some nice dinners here. I hope when the social distancing
Has lifted this restaurant continues to thrive.
Saw them posted over a month ago with the DIY LIT bucket but Bills is going crazy business still. It’s been my Sunday ritual for a month now. Parking lot always has cars coming in and out. Them and Brennan’s have a nice little setup going. Both look to be doing ok.
Yesterday I walked over to Frank’s Deli after calling in my order (45 min wait to pick up)… to say they were cranking is an understatement! Line of bags on the counter, and about 1/2 dozen people ordering and picking up. Still cash only.
we did the Texas Roadhouse family meal last night. Had promised little one chicken fingers all week so it was time to pay up, plus we were a bit Italian-ed out from the last few family meals. Not that they weren’t good to great buy just needed a break.
For $25 before tax the amount of food was unreal- 16 HUGE chicken fingers (prob more), 4 sides (two corn, two of really good fries), a huge salad with two dressings, the really addictive Parker style rolls with the cinnamon butter, all for what one kids order of chicken fingers and a salad would be at pizza joint. We made a second meal out of it today.
They really have the process down, guys outside with walkie talkies as fro ma distance for names, give it into the kitchen, parking in numbered spots, and contactless drop off in the car. They were humming and had a good brisk crowd of cars while I was there. they have some other specials for a bit more like ribs, burgers, and I think even steaks. I know for a chain place they get some decent credit here as opposed to the other steak places on their level. If you’re in the mood, I def sign off.
Yeah I went to franks about 11 yesterday and it was busy, lots of people in the place and most were not even acknowledging people who were there before they were
Absolutely the case. I asked what their ‘procedure’ was when I called and was only told to come in 45 minutes and wear a mask or to call from outside if I didn’t have one on.
I walked in the front door and got ‘in line’ on that side while others were standing around waiting (at a legit distance from one another, in masks) and after the 2nd person came in the side door to place an order, I jumped up front. It was the only complaint I had–and there’s an easy solution–just lock one of the doors, or make one IN only and the other OUT! YEEEEEEEEEESH
Exactly,in through the front door and exit the side door
