New Jersey Coronavirus/Covid19 Local Restaurant Specials

Awesome! Not something I’ve seen before! TY

And of course I’ve been looking…definitely more delivery options in NNJ (I put my mom’s info in) and it appears to be high quality; a bit expensive, but probably worth it!

Nettie’s is back!

Friends of Nettie’s,

We are excited to be open for takeout once again! We have a limited dinner menu that we will be updating often, as well as a selection of wine. Please place your orders through the online ordering tab on our website, www.nettiesrestaurant.com . If you’re not able to do so, please give us a call at (732) 922-9799 and we will take your order over the phone (payment is requested at the time of order; no cash please!). We will be accepting orders Wednesday through Sunday from 3:45pm - 7:45pm . Please order about 15-20 minutes before you plan to arrive, and call us when you’re in our parking lot so we can bring your order to your trunk for contactless pickup.

looks smart- very limited menu so they can just prep it all at once and very fair wine prices it seems.

I’ve driven past them a dozen times in the last month and wondered why the heck they weren’t doing take out. Good luck to them and I will probably add them to my rotation of places to try. (first I have to get Christine’s excellent 3 course menu)

Here is another smaller list of some restaurants in North Jersey that are selling groceries for pickup or delivery.

Antoinette Boulangerie in Red Bank is now offering a “pantry” service, offering flour, bread flour, yeast, eggs, milk, cream, ground coffee, etc, etc.

Their bread flour prices are cheaper than the grocery store, and living with a baker, I may have to head over there.

I bought a pound of yeast in a moment of panic after seeing only 2 packets in my pantry. I haven’t cracked the seal yet on it, but let me know if Justin needs any.

Just called and placed an order for 5 pounds of bread flour since it is unavailable everywhere. $3 per pound is outrageously good. Will be ready for pickup in 20 minutes.

Thank you so much. I think we are good but will have to check and get back to you!

Update: 5 pounds of bread flour and three pounds of butter (just because you can’t have to much on-hand). Swift service. Was ready in 20.

Just the flour? I would be incapable of not ordering some of their goodies too.

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY did you have to tell me there’s a teeny lemon loaf?!? I freaking LOVE lemon. But I’m boycotting AH until Nicholas Creamery opens and I can really go to town (from a caloric perspective)!

Well, I’ve been stocked with homemade goodies of late, and as tempting as it was, I abstained.

So I won’t tease you by describing the tart yet sweet, stopping just short of too sweet, icing.
