New Cookbook: Bahari: Recipes From an Omani Kitchen and Beyond by Dina Macki

I just got this as an ebook loan from my library, skimmed through it. Very interesting but I don’t think I’ll cook anything from it. Some of the rest of you might like it.

Za’atar & Garlic Focaccia sounds good.

I thought Saregama might like this cookbook.

Thanks @Aubergine!

Sounds interesting.

I’d imagine Omani cuisine has a lot of different elements given the location of the country – guessing middle eastern, african, and Indian factor in for sure, it was a big destination for indian workers a few decades ago.

Will check if my library has it.

Yes, such a mixture of different people and cultures. Most were Muslims. The author was raised in Portsmouth, England.
