need some new bake pans

USA or Nordic Ware?
8x8 brownie and 12x17 sheet

8X8 Square USA for me.
Can’t stand those curved Corners on the Nordicware
For Sheet Pans I like the Vollrath 5314

hadn’t heard of Vollrath.

It may be better known in Professional Food Service.
ā€œWearEverā€ may be a more recognized brand name¯\(°_o)/¯

I think Vollrath is the brand used by @Nannybakes

I really love USA pans. With the popover pan, they release like a dream.

Vollrath 68085 is my cookie sheet of choice.
My preference for cake pans is Parrish Magic Line, made in California, but hard to locate.

Crispy brownie edges all the time!

For baking pans I’d recommend looking at Fat Daddio’s. I bought a few several years back after they were recommended on Serious Eats (before the site became what it is today), and they’ve held up beautifully. Best pans I’ve ever owned.

King Arthur Flour sells baking pans. We have their 8 x 8 square.

I saw that. It looks like they are selling USA Pans. Is that who made your 8X8?

I went with USA 8x8. Hadn’t heard of Fat Daddio. I’ll add them to my bookmark for next time.
It’s amazing to me that at least 3 family owned pan companies can survive and manufacture in the US in the current economic environment.

I have some Fat Daddio Round 8" Cake Pans. Thay are very nice and I like them a lot.
But the Square Pans have rounded/eased Corners and Edges which I personally do not like in Square/Rectangular Pans

Is your problem with the rounded edges purely aesthetic, or is there some functional concern? I prefer them because I find them a bit easier to clean.

Totally aesthetic!

Parrish Magic Line pans are square, the sides/corners are soldered. They also have a little more heft than FD and bake more evenly. I have both manufacturers.

Not sure. I bought it straight from King Arthur, so I thought it was their house brand.

That is the Pan made by ā€œUSA Pansā€
