I just saw these at Safeway (I was shocked)! And yes, they’re pricey… and for some reason they say they are not conducive to home freezing… I just had one last night (lightly toasted) and it was spectacular!

What did you like about it? I usually find brioche too sweet for a burger bun (and in general), but I like Aldi’s brioche buns (they even have them with sesame or everything if that’s yer style) as they are fluffy yet sturdy and not too sweet.

I didn’t find it too sweet… more buttery. I loved the texture… pillowy, yet a light toasting gave a nice crispness around the edges and structure for holding the condiments (of which I use a lot), without loosing that pillowy texture.
They also have a sesame seeded version.

One of my local family-owned groceries carries them. I’ve only tried the hot dog buns.
