Hi guys - I am looking for recommendations for a good brand of unsprouted mung beans, to sprout at home. The last two bags I bought on Amazon both had about 40% unsproutable, which is a pain to pick through. I don’t remember this many not sprouting, from years ago. Thanks!
Is there an Asian grocery store you can get to? No brands in mind, but have you tried buying a pack of those and sprouting them?

Never considered brands for mung beans, and they are probably the easiest sprouters, so maybe the bags from Amazon were just very old beans.
If there’s an Indian store near you, buy any brand available including the store brand – their turnover will be a lot higher, as they’re heavily used in the cuisine.
