Mail-order cake or pie to send to Colorado

Hi!
Which cakes or pies would you recommend that I can order online to send to someone for their birthday?
I sent a praline cake from Pittsburgh via Goldbelly a few years ago.

There anre ideas on the holiday thread, but Baked By Melissa might also work.

Though I’d probably look at bakeries local to them or in Denver rather than ship something across the country with Goldbely or otherwise unless it’s a favorite of theirs.

Do You Send Food Gifts For The Holidays?

Oh yeah we did Zingermans too - I’ve been to the original, but the shipped goods were kind of meh. With Goldbelly I think items that can be frozen to be enjoyed over time are a better deal. So the bagels - we sliced & froze & ate over a couple of months. I’m not a big fan of the single-meal things (like Momofuku’s bo ssam kit) but I can see how they would appeal to people looking for an exciting group or family meal. The meal kits seem an odd gift at first blush, but my aunt really loved them. …

Pittman and Davis’s Pecan Pie is actually quite good. My Mom used to buy them as gifts (she is a blue ribbon baker)
