Actually I’m more of a Prince’s fan, to be honest.
Shrimp salad on a bed of shredded baby romaine vinaigrette, in addition to the shrimp, avocado, red onion, jalapeno, yellow tomato, mayo, wasabi, cilantro.
Dessert was eggnog pudding , cream, pineapple rum sauce.

I swapped the green pepper and red onion for serranos and shallot, because that is what I had on hand. Used Scali bread in place of the white bread called for.
Those Indians … they know how to properly elevate a grilled cheese sandwich.
I ordered one of these for the first time a couple months ago. I liked it a lot.
Random holiday leftover mashup:
Butternut squash soup
Leftover Xmas ham
Sauerkraut I just bought at the butcher for New Year’s Day
Half of a huge Italian from a nearby place with house-made charcuterie and very delicious hot relish. I doubt I’ll eat anything else today.
Scallop crudo, Meyer lemon, evoo, chives, jalapeño, tomatoes, crushed pistachios.
Avocado and cucs with the same vinaigrette.
Olive bread
Eggnog crème légère , several layers of rum soaked amaretti cookies, grated nutmeg.
Family lunch! Ham and cheese quiche, vegetable crab soup leftover from my open house, lettuce with homemade pesto dressing.
What a gorgeous and inviting plate! I’d hit that.
Your Eggs in a Nest turn out more beautifully than mine ever do!
Thank you!
Aw, thanks
Dan Dan noodles made by DD by way of lady and the pups. She initially thought that the amount of gravy was too much but it worked out fine and the bok choi was delicious. The Chinese noodles came from the Mala Market.
We also had smashed cucs but failed to take a pic
