Hash in California was considered a bigger legal offense back in the day, so it was avoided and harder to find. Flowers and leaves however grow like crazy in CaliforniaâŚlike in my childhood backyard. My mom never knew what it was despite having a giant green thumb. Stuff grow like a weed, haha. Never smoked anything but flowers and leaves. As for too strongâŚ.holy hell, thereâs strains that come in at 35% thcâŚand itâs cheap. Literal one hit stuff. $60 buys an ounce of 30% THC, thatâs with tax. The prices are crazyâŚand I get an occasional 20% off from my legal dealer.

One thing Iâve noticed for myself: when you take an edible, eat it with something, preferably something with a decent amount of fat. THC and other cannbanoids are fat soluable. Thatâs how it gets into your system.
If you just have a gummy on an empty stomach, itâs possible youâll just digest the sugar and all the fun stuff just passes through.
My usual method: take dose approx 1 hour before I want to be affected, with a small snack, cookie, cheese, some peanut butter. Then once it starts, a meal will 1) taste awesome and 2) move digestion into high gear, leading to a bump in effect.
